Gina Cinali
Membership Director

Gina Cinali has been with the Gulf/2000 project since 1995. She is responsible for enrolling new members and for maintaining the membership rolls and the on-line directory of the project. She is an international higher education and accreditation expert who has held executive positions in institutional planning, research, accreditation, budgeting, evaluation - concurrent with teaching political science.

Gina is former Director of Institutional Research at the American University of Afghanistan and former Associate Vice President, Institutional Research and Effectiveness and Faculty in Political Science at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco and has served at American University in Cairo, Gulf University for Science and Technology, American University of Nigeria, American University of Kuwait, King Abdullah University for Science and Technology, American University in Dubai, among others.

Prior positions: National Manager, Donor Services, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, New York; Founding Director, Executive MBA, Fordham University, New York, Teaching at Fordham from 1995-2003. Curriculum Coordinator/Interim Assistant Dean, Columbia University-School of International and Public Affairs concurrent w course work in Political Science. Danish Foreign Service (Denmark and Iran). Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) Strategic Planning and Desk Officer, Ecuador and the Caribbean Swiss Bank

Board Member - International Center for Academic Integrity; Past-President of MENA-AIR.

Education: Bachelor's- Economics, Linguistics /Specialized Languages - Copenhagen School of Economics and Business Administration, Master's in International Affairs and M. Phil. Political Science from Columbia University, New York.
